Nina Ott is a pianist, organist and composer.

Rooted in a classical foundation, she plays with distinctive authority regardless of genre, focusing on the honest, in-the-moment spirit of jazz, Latin jazz, funk/soul and gospel.

At the core of her work is a close partnership with bassist, drummer and composer Chris Lopes. Together in the Ott-Lopesproject, they write, play and record-driven by a deep, spontaneous connection forged over thirty years of playing together. Currently, they are releasing a brand-new piano trio recording of fresh original compositions, featuring Lopes on bass and the incredibly sensitive and swinging drumming of Steve Langone.
